Wyoming Area produced eight hits Friday at Nanticoke, but was only able to turn them into a single run in an 8-1 loss to Nanticoke in a Wyoming Valley Conference Division 2 softball game. The Lady Warriors played three straight days and lost all three to fall to 1-2 in the division and 1-6 overall. Maggie Hallman, Anna Wisnewski and Cassandra Scripkunas each had two hits in the loss.
