West Pittston LL registrations conclude Feb. 12

WEST PITTSTON — West Pittston Little League will hold registration in the board room above the stand from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12.

Registration is $75 for the first child, with an additional amount of $30 for a second child in the same family and $20 for any additional children in the same family after that. The registration fee covers the child’s hat, shirt, pants and socks. There is an additional $50 per family for the fundraiser.

Bring three proofs of residence, including one utility bill and two other forms, such as vehicle registration, insurance card, voter registration, school records or medical records.

The league is also looking for gently used equipment to be donated, such as spikes, a helmet or glove.

Junior Patriots meeting Feb. 12

PITTSTON — The Pittston Junior Patriots will meet at 11 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 12 at SB’s Riverview Pizza, 188 N. Main St.

Little League registration

PITTSTON — Pittston City Little League will hold 2017 registrations every Saturday and Sunday during the month of February.

Registration times at noon to 2 p.m. Saturdays and 1 to 3 p.m. Sundays. Sign ups are help in the press box at the field. Players should provide three proofs of residency and a birth certificate.

Fees are as follows: T-ball, $30; Coach Pitch, $60; Minors, $65; Majors, $65; and Juniors/Seniors, $100.

All levels of play will all be required to pay a $25 fundraising fee at time of registration.

Football Boosters meeting, night at the races

PITTSTON — The Pittston Area Football Booster Club will hold their next meeting Wednesday, Feb. 15 at 6 p.m. in Pittston Area High School cafeteria, 5 Stout St., Pittston. The meeting topic will be Night at the Races, held 5 p.m. Saturday, March 25 at St. Joseph Marello Parish, 237 William St.

Horses can be purchased from any football player for $15. Cost includes the horse and admission for one adult. This is a 21-and-over event.

The booster club is seeking race sponsors, food donations, basket donations and volunteers for the event. For more information, visit pafootballboosterclub.com.

Little League meeting Feb. 16

DURYEA — Duryea Little League will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 6 at the Germania Hose Company, 430 Foote Ave.

All managers, coaches and parents are urged to attend.

Little League registrations are Feb. 18

DURYEA — The Duryea Little League will be holding its one and only in-person registration from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18 at the municipal building, 315 Main St.

Cost for registration is $50 for tee ball, $80 for coach pitch, minors, and majors; $130 for family of two or more children.

This will be the final registration for this upcoming season.

Exeter Lions Little League Registrations

EXETER — Baseball and softball registrations for the Exeter Lions Little League will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16 and from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18 at the Exeter Scout Home on Lincoln Street. Entrance is located behind the Exeter Borough Building.

All registration forms can be obtained in advance via the league website, www.exeterlionslittleleague.org.

Softball league seeks players

OLD FORGE — The Moosic-Old Forge Mens Slow Pitch Wooden Bat Softball League is looking for two new teams for this upcoming season.
